A fresh experience

Musically, the roots of wogglebug’s passion for music grew through the fertile soil of Jamaican music, rock, funk, soul, hip-hop, and jazz. But a lifetime of exploring new musical ideas and sounds has also led to a deep love of electronic music; from musique concrète and the spatial audio experiments of Suzanne Ciani to Detroit techno and UK bass music. wogglebug is always open to new ideas and is a firm believer that there is no such thing as bad music, just music you have yet to comprehend.

As an artist, with a production style that is informed predominantly by dub, techno and generative ambient music, this tends to be the style of music that wogglebug produces. However, as a producer, sound designer, and audio engineer, that passion for musical exploration means that wogglebug is comfortable recording and mixing a broad range of musical styles. Experienced with a host of audio and video production including, but not limited to: Ableton Live, ProTools, Rekordbox, Traktor and DaVinci Resolve. 

In addition to this, wogglebug is a seasoned DJ who has worked both in the UK and Europe. Drawing on an extensive knowledge of music has always helped wogglebug to create an incredible atmosphere for an audience, whether the space needs to be relaxed and chilled or jumping and lively.
